Architectural Metal Works serves local California residents and business owners but also ships nationwide
Architectural Metal Works is based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Our Oakland facility is 15,000 square feet and we have some state of the art CNC machines as well as traditional tooling to manufacture high quality American made products. Although we specialize in metal and glass railing systems, we also fabricate other custom metal work for our clients which includes front doors, fireplace surrounds, awnings, trellises, arbors, furniture and hardware. One of our flagship product lines is our Wedge Lock 3000 Deck Railing System, which, compared to cable railings, has fewer and smaller posts, fewer horizontals, floating corners and NO visible fasteners. You get a railing system that is designed for people who want something for the long-run.
Is Architectural Metal Works licensed?
You bet. We have been licensed in the state of California to fabricate and install ornamental metal work since 1996, and our principal owners bring over 50 years of shop and field experience to the table. This experience provides us with capabilities to anticipate the issues may arise on your project, as every deck is different – with it’s own challenges. This experience also helped us develop the Wedge Lock 3000 railing system – the result of installing many cable railing systems that we always felt were substandard and lacking the quality that our clients deserve. We kept saying, “There has to be a better way” and finally we developed the railing system that the cable rail wants to be and now we can offer it to you.
We fabricate AND install.
Nationally, we manufacture quality non corrosive railing systems for fabricators and contractors to install. Locally we not only manufacture and fabricate railing systems but we install as well. Whichever the case, we are fully licensed, bonded and insured for every project we take.
It’s simple. If you are looking for an alternative to the common and problematic cable rail systems and want it done right the first time, then contact us for your next project.
