Gates were a natural step for us, as many customers need gates that match the railings on their property. In our experience, heavy steel gates put too much weight on the hinges and inevitably start to rust, which is why we make all of our gates out of aluminum. For swimming pools we have fabricated and installed gates that have card readers and electronic strikes as well as push button key combinations, self closing hinges, and pivots.
Mill Valley Flat Bar Gate
This 20 foot long driveway gate was custom designed to span such a long distance. It was backed with clear plexiglas for safety, and black powdercoated to match the railings. A lockable pedestrian gate was installed at the other end of the property.
This gate was designed and fabricated to match the Wedge Lock 3000 railing. With the same stainless steel rods and a frame that can be matched to railing posts, it’s a great addition to a Wedge Lock railing.
The Booker project consisted of an anodized aluminum front entry gate with horizontal slats. The gate is flanked by stucco walls has a keyed door handle and an automatic self-closing floor closer with a custom pivot at the top of the door.
The Sanders project consisted of five separate aluminum and wood gates around the property that were all powdercoatedin a color like oil rubbed bronze. The gate at the front entry was installed with a card reader and electronic strike. Adding the gate was a simple addition that created a small and private front courtyard. There was also a driveway gate with a “gravity” latch that automatically latches when the door is closed and had a fully integrated cane bolt.
The Orinda project included an automated driveway gate, pedestrian gate, security camera pedestal and 2 keypad pedestals. All of these were powdercoated a silver color and incorporated stainless hardware and pivots.
Lombard Pool Gate
This glass and powdercoated aluminum fence and gate were designed to be visually minimal. Although this assembly wouldn’t be suitable for a guardrail, it’s a good option for fences and privacy screens.
The Aeneas gate was in an ornate style, but made out of aluminum to be lightweight and rust free. The color was powdercoated to match the trim of the house. A “Mighty Mule” gate opener allowed for both keypad and remote control entry. We used offset aluminum barrel hinges and corner gussets to control the sag.
